As we approach the middle of the Fall 2021 term, your advisors would like to check in with you about how you are doing. We encourage you to cultivate self-compassion as you acclimate to college life and experience in-person classes.
If you are encountering any challenges that might impact you academically, please be sure to communicate with your advisor immediately so we talk about questions and options and refer you to relevant resources.
Remember, all CNAS advisors are advising remotely during the 2021 Fall quarter. We remain fully available for appointment and drop-in advising through Zoom. Please see our availability at MyAdvising. We can also be reached by email.
Important Dates:
- Please mark your planners with dates and deadlines in case you need to withdraw from a class this term, or from the entire term.
- Deadlines can be viewed at the UCR Academic Calendar
- Major changes: All major changes to a CNAS major must be completed by the end of Week 4 (this week). To declare the major, please schedule a major change appointment with the advisor of the major you wish to declare (not with your undeclared advisor) no later than Friday of this week.
- If you are changing to a CHASS major, the Week 4 major declaration does not apply.
