Registration for 2021 Fall Classes: See the details!

The 2021 Fall term is quickly approaching and you may have questions about when and how to adjust your fall class registration.  Please check out the information below!  The UCR Academic Calendar is viewable at this link; we recommend that you bookmark the link and add important dates and deadlines to your planner.

New Freshmen and Continuing Students:

    a. Fall 2021 schedules can now be adjusted as of Friday, September 10th, 2021, at 9 am.

    b. The 17 unit maximum is now lifted to allow enrollment in up to 20 units. (Unsure if you should adjust your schedule? You can email your academic advisor with your questions).

    c. PLEASE NOTE: If you are a new Freshman in a CNAS Learning Community, only non-LC classes can be adjusted, such as English or Breadth classes.

Continuing Undeclared Students ( Exceeding Unit Limit):

   a. If you have a registration hold because you are exceeding 89 units and have not declared a major, please contact your advisor for next steps, which may include requesting an exception or declaring a major (if you are now eligible).

    b. If your summer classes at UCR helped you become eligible to declare your major, please schedule a major change appointment WITH THE ADVISOR OF THE MAJOR YOU WISH TO DECLARE at myadvising.ucr.edu during Weeks 2 or 3 of the quarter.
