We are starting Week 10 of the 2021 Winter term.
Next week will be Finals Week.
Then Spring Break will be here from March 22-26.
We encourage you to keep up the hard work and finish the quarter strong!
Please note the following information as you prepare for the next few weeks:
1. Term Withdraw: If you are not doing well in some of your classes and would like to consider a withdraw from the winter term, please email your advisor immediately to discuss this option (you can send an email rather than waiting to schedule an advising appointment). The afternoon of this Friday, March 12th, 2021, is the deadline to withdraw from all your classes.
2. Registration: We are currently in second pass enrollment for the Spring 2021 term.
This means:
a. The 17 unit maximum is lifted; you can enroll in up to 20 units (although this may not be your best option, depending on your plan to declare a major; please consult with your advisor if you have questions).
b. If you are not in Good Standing (you can view your standing on your Student Profile, Unofficial Transcript, or Degree Audit), your unit limit will remain at 15 units. If you return to Good Standing once your 2021 Winter grades post, your academic standing will then be updated to show you are in Good Standing and the 15-unit limit will be removed.
c. If you are in a Learning Community and have not yet registered for your 2021 Spring classes, PLEASE DO SO IMMEDIATELY! Reserved seats for learning community students which go unclaimed will be returned for any students to enroll in very soon. If you still have a term plan hold, please be sure to submit your term plan TODAY!
3. Appointments: If you have questions and would like to meet with your advisor, we invite you to schedule an appointment with us at myadvising.ucr.edu. Please be sure to schedule an appointment with your assigned advisor, rather than any next available advisor who does not advise for your caseload.
