Registration Notice! When can you adjust your classes for the 2021 Winter Quarter? Read this post

Please keep in mind that 1st pass enrollment is ending at 5:00 am on Wednesday, December 9th.

The 17 unit maximum will be lifted during 2nd pass enrollment, which begins at 9:00 am on Wednesday, December 9th.  At that time you will be able to enroll in a maximum of 20 units, and will be able to adjust your winter classes as needed.

NOTE:

1. If you are in a CNAS learning community, your learning community classes cannot be adjusted. However, you will be able to adjust other classes you enrolled in on your own, such as English or Breadth classes.

2. If there is a specific class that's high priority for you to take in winter to complete major change requirements for your desired major, be sure to secure a seat in that class first (or waitlist for the class if no seats are available), then continue enrolling in your other classes.

3. If you run into issues due to a prerequisite error (perhaps you have transfer credit for a CNAS course, but you're receiving an error message when you attempt to enroll in the next class), please contact the appropriate staff member at the CNAS Enrollment Management Center (EMC) CNAS EMC Contact Us page.

4. Starting December 9th, you will be able to continue adjusting your 2021 Winter classes through the end of Week 2 of the winter term (noon on Friday, January 15th).

ALSO REMEMBER:

This Friday, December 11th, at 3 pm is the DEADLINE TO SUBMIT a request to withdraw from the entire Fall 2020 quarter. If you wish to do so, please contact your academic advisor so they can assist you with filling out the proper form to submit this request.

The deadline has passed (on November 30th) to withdraw from individual classes without a "W" on your transcript.

We hope your last week of classes at UCR for the 2020 Fall quarter is going well and you're preparing for your upcoming Final Exams!

Best, Katie, Liz, Kia, Johanna, and Denise
