We are nearing the end of Week 9 of the 20W quarter, which means there's one more week of class, then finals week.  Hang in there!

A few notes:

1. Are you becoming eligible to declare a CNAS major with your current 20W classes? If so, don't delay; be sure to meet with the advisor of your new major as early as next week. Some of the majors are hosting major change workshops, so be sure to check out this blog for more information and submit the appropriate RSVP for the workshop.
***Major changes in CNAS are only accepted during Weeks 2-4 of the quarter. However, you can meet with the new advisor or attend a major change workshop in Weeks 9-10 or finals week in the quarter you're becoming eligible to declare. The advisor will then hold onto the major change form you fill out, review your 20W grades once they post, and approve your major change if you remain eligible.

2. To determine if you're eligible to declare a major, please consult the CNAS Majors Page and view the Yellow tab on the page to see the Change of Major Criteria.

3. If you feel that you are not doing well in your current 20W classes, you may want to consider a term withdraw. This means that you would be withdrawing from ALL of your current winter quarter courses, and would therefore earn "W"s instead of letter grades. (Please note, the deadline passed at the end of Week 6 to withdraw from individual classes, so the only withdraw option left is to withdraw from the entire quarter).
You would also not earn units for the classes you were enrolled in this quarter. If you would like more information, you may reach out to your advisor.  The deadline to withdraw from classes for this quarter is next Friday, March 13th, at 3:45 pm.

We hope you are on track to excel in your classes this quarter and finish strong!
