Questions about Registering for your 2019 Fall Classes?

As of early this morning, Tuesday, September 10th, registration re-opened for all students.  If you have experienced any registration issues, please note the following information.

1. If you are attempting to register for a class which you're taking for the second time, you may have experienced a delay or error message early this morning.  The known issue was resolved this morning, and you should try again to enroll in the repeat class.

2. If you still do not have at least 12 units needed to be in full time status, be sure to add sufficient classes to reach that number.  There are still seats available in some classes, although they may not be your ideal class or time of the day/week.  You have until Week 2 of the quarter to drop/add classes through R'Web.

3. If you are a new freshman and recently received your MATH or ENGL placements from taking the placement exams, be sure to enroll in the appropriate MATH or ENGL classes.  If you're unsure about the appropriate class, please reach out to your advisor for assistance.  If your placement is above ARC 35 and you would like to see if any learning community seats are still available for your new placement, please email cnasscholars@ucr.edu for assistance.

4. If there is a class you need but no available seats, you should plan to attend the class starting on the first day of instruction, as a seat may open up within the first 2 weeks of the quarter.

5. If you need to meet with an advisor, view myadvising.ucr.edu and look for your advisor's name to see their availability.  Please note that you might only see drop in advising available at this time, and you can come in during drop in hours.  Appointments may be added later, but will not be available during Week 1 of the quarter.

6. If you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed, please keep in mind that you will get through this. Your advisors are here to help you through your challenges, and we look forward to seeing you back on campus for the 2019 Fall Quarter!

Best,
Katie, Kia, Liz, Johanna, and Denise
