When Can I Register Again?

If you have attempted to adjust your schedule for the 2019 Fall (19F) quarter, you may have noticed that registration is currently closed.  However, registration will open soon!

WHEN: View the UCR Academic Calendar for important dates, including registration for 19F.

HOW: You can register through R'Web, the same way you did in spring (continuing students) or during orientation this summer (new freshmen).

WHY: You may need to adjust your schedule to have at least 12 units and be considered full time status.  Remember, you should plan to average 15 units per quarter to Finish in Four.  The most important classes for new students to take are your appropriate MATH and ENGLISH classes.  You may also need or want to adjust your breadth classes, and you'll be able to do so once registration opens again!

UNTIL WHEN: View the UCR Academic Calendar for the date.  You can usually adjust your schedule (drop and add courses) until Friday of Week 2 of the academic quarter.

QUESTIONS: If you would like guidance for specific questions not covered in this Blog or on the Registrar's website, please contact your Academic Advisor.  Your advisor's name and email address can be found in R'Web when you view your student profile.

TIP: If you are a freshman in a learning community, you cannot drop any learning community courses (typically MATH, CHEM, NASC 093, etc.).  You can only adjust your other classes, such as ENGL, breadth, ensuring there is no time conflict with your learning community courses.

We're looking forward to your return to the UCR campus next month!
