Welcome back to the UCR campus for the 2019 Spring Quarter!  We're excited to have you back.

Here are a few tips and reminders as the quarter gets underway:

1.  Advising Availability:  We are available to meet with you starting today.  However, please note that only drop in advising is available for this week, Week 1 of the quarter. Starting in Week 2, we will again have drop in and appointment availability.  Please see myadvising.ucr.edu for scheduling.

2. Still Adding a Class:  If you are not yet enrolled in 12 units (full time status) or are still trying to add another class, you should start attending the class from Day 1!  Then if you are able to add the class (whether waitlisted, or simply hoping that a seat opens up), you won't be behind if you've been attending and keeping up with the work.

3. Academic Status:  If your term GPA and Cumulative GPA are not both at least 2.0 after 19W grades posted, your status has changed to Academic Probation or Subject to Disqualification.  If that is the case, please note that you cannot be enrolled in more than 15 units for the 19 Spring quarter.   This is to help you focus on only 3 classes, do very well in those classes, and return to Good Standing. (If you are enrolled in over 15 units, you should drop one of your classes; please consult with your advisor if you need further assistance).

4. Enrollment: Second pass enrollment is open through the end of Week 2 of this quarter.  That means you can drop and add classes and sections, if available, through R'Web during that time.  Classes not added during that time may be able to be added during Week 3 only with instructor's signature of permission (this would be submitted through myforms.ucr.edu).

If you have any additional questions, please contact your advisor.  We wish you a wonderful 2019 Spring quarter!

Best,
Katie, Liz, Kia, Johanna, and Denise
