Hang in there!  We've just started Week 10, and Finals Week is just around the corner too!  This is the moment to not give up, to dig deep for your motivation, and to finish strong.  You still have this last week to turn in any final assignments, start/continue studying for finals, and focus on your goals.

Here are a few reminders for this week:

1. If you aren't doing well in multiple classes and are considering a withdraw from the entire quarter:
     a. Come in to meet with a college advisor before the withdraw deadline, which is THIS FRIDAY, June 8th, at 3:30 pm!  Once the deadline passes, you will no longer have the opportunity to withdraw from the quarter.
     b. You don't have to make an appointment; simply come to 1223 Pierce Hall, take a number, and let the front desk know you're here to withdraw from THIS quarter, and they will sign you in for an available college advisor.  If you receive financial aid, you may want to consult with financial aid about how withdrawing from the quarter could impact future aid.
     c. The CNAS advising center's open hours are from 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday through Friday (***please note that on Wednesdays, the center opens at 10 am).

2. If you are now eligible for a major change, please schedule an appointment WITH THE ADVISOR OF THE MAJOR YOU WISH TO DECLARE.  Please note that undeclared advisors can't change you to another major; you must meet with the CHEM, BIOL, MATH, etc. advisor for your alpha.

3. Second pass enrollment will start on Sept. 11th, when the 17 unit limit will be lifted.  Please see the UCR Academic Calendar link on the blog for additional details about registration.

4. If you haven't yet submitted your term plan for 18F registration, please do so immediately!  Classes fill up quickly, and we want you to be able to secure the classes you need to make progress toward your desired major.  If seats are currently full in some classes, remember that some seats will open up due to students not passing a current class which is a prereq for their fall class.

5. We are here to support your success, and we hope that you are taking care of your physical and mental wellness.  Please come in to see us or send us an email if you have questions that we can assist with.
