Did You Know... Spotlight on the R' Pantry: Spread the Word!

What is the R' Pantry?
It's a food pantry created to help UCR students who are facing food insecurity.  Those who face food insecurity may have limited or uncertain/unstable availability to nutritionally adequate and safe foods.

What is a goal of the R' Pantry?
To provide emergency food to UCR students in need (and to connect students to food resources, both on and off campus).

How and When can students access the R' Pantry?
Any student in need can visit the R' Pantry during walk-in hours.  For updated hours, see the R' Pantry Facebook Page and Walk In Hours Information

What happens during a visit to the R' Pantry?
When you visit the R' Pantry at Costo Hall 110, you will check in using your UCR ID.
You can visit the R' Pantry once per week during walk-in hours or by appointment.
You will be given "points" as currency.  As of Fall 2017, students can self-select a total of 8 food items plus 2 personal care items.  Special items (fresh produce, baby food or formula) can be accessed without counting as part of your points.
Once you've selected your items, you will be checked out by R' Pantry staff who will help you count your points and let you know about workshops and other special programs which may be of interest to you.
