Ready to Change Your Major?

The CNAS Undergraduate Advising Center will being offering Major Change Workshops in Weeks 3 and 4 of the winter 2018 quarter for select majors.  If you are interested in any of the majors offered below, please be sure sign up ASAP for a seat in the workshop (the workshops fill up quickly).  If you meet eligibility requirements, you will be able to fill out and submit a major change request during the workshop.  

 Please see the announcements below for instructions on how to RSVP for a workshop:
BIOLOGY MAJOR CHANGE WORKSHOPS
Workshops will be held in Pierce 1305 at the following times:

Tuesday, January 23rd from 10-11am
Wednesday, January 24th from 1-2pm
Thursday, January 25th from 3-4pm

RSVP by sending an email to nakita.lea@ucr.edu. Please include your SID and the date you are interested in attending. Space is limited, so early sign-ups are encouraged.


Math, Statistics, or a Physical Science Workshops
(Physical Sciences include Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, and Physics) 
Change of Major Workshops are located in Pierce Hall 1305:

Friday, January 26 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Thursday, February 1 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Please include your Name, SID, workshop preference and major of interest. Space is limited, so early sign-ups are encouraged.



Also, please keep in mind that YOU DO NOT NEED TO MEET WITH YOUR UNDECLARED ADVISOR FIRST TO DECLARE A MAJOR.  You only need to meet with the advisor of the major you wish to declare.

Please note:  If all of the offered workshops for your major of interest conflict with your class schedule, you can EMAIL THE ADVISOR OF THE MAJOR YOU WISH TO DECLARE to see about scheduling a one-on-one appointment.
