Still Trying to Add a Class

Welcome to Week 1 of the 17F quarter.  As you are settling in to your new surroundings and schedule, you may be wondering what you should do if you are still trying to add a class or adjust your schedule.

1. Check classes.ucr.edu to see if there are any seats available in the class you would like to add.
2. Continue (or start immediately) attending any classes/sections you are hoping to add (if you are able to add the class later on, you don't want to have fallen behind).  You should attend all components, such as lecture, discussion, and lab.
3.  If you are not able to enroll in the class through R'Web by the end of Week 2, but you have been attending the class, you have another option to try to add the class.
     a. During Week 3 (Oct. 16-20), submit an online EAF (Enrollment Adjustment Form) at myforms.ucr.edu.
     b. Select the Undergraduate Enrollment Adjustment Form and fill it out completely online.
     c. Print the completed form.  Be sure to SUBMIT it online as well!
     d. Ask the instructor to sign the form during Week 3 of the quarter, granting you a seat in the class.
     e. Drop off the signed EAF at the CNAS UAAC (1223 Pierce Hall) NO LATER THAN NOON on Friday, Oct. 20th. Late submissions will not be accepted.
     f. If you are approved to add the class, CNAS will approve the online form.  The Registrar's Office will then enroll you in the class.

TIP: If the class you wish to add is a breadth class, such as PSYC, ANTH, HIST, ETST, etc., you will have future quarters in which to enroll in the class.
If you need sufficient units to have 12 units and be full time, you can search on classes.ucr.edu and check the Open Sections Only box so you view only sections which have seat availability.
