Can I...Should I... S/NC a class?

You may have heard about the option to change the grading basis of your currently enrolled classes from a letter grade to S/NC. The S indicates Satisfactory. The NC indicates No Credit. If you S/NC the course and would have received a C grade or higher in the course, your "grade" will show on your transcript as S and you will receive the units for the course. If your grade would have been a C- or below, your "grade" will show on your transcript as NC and you will receive no units for the course. Neither an S nor an NC impact your UCR GPA. Did You Know... Spotlight on the R' Pantry: Spread the Word!

What is the R' Pantry? It's a food pantry created to help UCR students who are facing food insecurity. Those who face food insecurity may have limited or uncertain/unstable availability to nutritionally adequate and safe foods. What is a goal of the R' Pantry? To provide emergency food to UCR students in need (and to connect students to food resources, both on and off campus). How and When can students access the R' Pantry? Any student in need can visit the R' Pantry during walk-in hours. For updated hours, see the R' Pantry Facebook Page and Walk In Hours Information What happens during a visit to the R' Pantry? When you visit the R' Pantry at Costo Hall 110 , you will check in using your UCR ID. You can visit the R' Pantry once per week during walk-in hours or by appointment.
