CNAS Scholarships range from several hundred to several thousand dollars for each scholarship!  The application is open to all CNAS students, regardless of major or class level.  However, some scholarships have specific criteria, including major, class level, or GPA requirements.  Eligibility information for each scholarship can be found on the scholarship application, linked below.

 Please read the information below thoroughly and consider applying for one or more of the 2018 CNAS Scholarships!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  1. You will not be able to save your online application and return to it; you must complete the whole application to submit it.
  2. As you begin the application, be prepared to include a 500 word essay, your unofficial transcript, the names of 2 faculty members who will write letters of recommendation for you (and additional requirements which you may need to submit, based on the scholarships for which you apply).
  3. All components of the application, including BOTH LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION, must be received by the deadline; NO EXCEPTIONS!
  4. You must send the Google Docs link, above, to each faculty member who you ask to write a letter of recommendation for you; letters must be sent from the UCR Faculty Member’s UCR Email address (students may not submit the letters); this is the only way for letters of recommendation to be submitted. 
  5. If you don’t send the Google Docs link above to the Faculty Members writing the letters of recommendation for you, they will not receive it any other way.  Therefore, they will not submit your letters of recommendation as required, and your application will be incomplete.
  6. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
  7. If you are selected to receive a scholarship award, you will be notified and asked to select which quarters you would like to apply the award to.
  8. All award money applies to your account FIRST; any financial aid you may be eligible for applies after the scholarship award amount has been applied.
